Position Summary
Under the direction of the Office Coordinator, assists in developing and maintaining systems that assess, plan, track, report, update, and improve activities within the Buntain School of Nursing (BSON). Communicates information with internal and external constituencies. Aids in maintaining a standard of competence, professionalism, responsiveness, and Christian values. Responsibilities often must be accomplished without direct supervision. This is a 0.5 FTE position.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with the Office Coordinator in maintaining administrative systems through performing such tasks as data collection, data entry, preparing data reports, coordinating room use, maintaining calendars, setting appointments, preparing documents, organizing documents in hardcopy and electronic files, and perform other job-related tasks as directed.
- Promote nursing program and recruit students by means of providing program information, contacts and resources, to prospective students, collaborate with Marketing regarding publication materials, serve as a key member of the 91制片厂 Nursing Taskforce, collaborate with Admissions department and nursing advisors by meeting with prospective students, giving tours, facilitating prospective student events, and attending the nursing information sessions.
- Communicate with students, staff, faculty, and public through written and verbal means in a timely, accurate, proactive, and pleasant manner such that follow-up questions from various audiences are minimal. Maintain BSON social media accounts.
- Assist faculty with special projects and tasks relating to teaching, committee assignments, and recording meeting minutes.
- Serves as an ex-officio member of the Faculty Affairs Committee. Responsible for maintaining faculty handbook, faculty workdays and events, and faculty compliance tracking.
- Help coordinate various meetings and ceremonies for students, faculty, and guests.
- Coordinate School of Nursing Advisory Board meetings including communication with Advisory Board members.
- Obtain quotes, order, and maintain supplies for the skills/simulation lab, office, faculty, and cross-cultural experiences. Assist with coordinating travel for the cross-cultural experiences. Identify and implement cost-effective means of increasing administrative system effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assist the Clinical Compliance Coordinator with clinical onboarding and compliance tracking.
- Maintain communal spaces such as the nursing front office, staff and faculty kitchen, and nursing student lounge.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills
- Proficient in Teams, Microsoft 365 with strong skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new programs.
- Highly organized and efficient with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that can be maintained in high levels of stress and in a wide range of environmental settings. Strong communication skills for both written and oral communication.
- Strong initiative, self-direction, time management and project management. Must be able to work independently and cooperatively with others.
- Strong customer service skills with a warm and inviting demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, high level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational and time management skills, highly detail oriented.
- Ability to communicate effectively, get along well with co-workers, and deal effectively and professionally with colleagues.
- Ability to model, uphold, and reinforce competence, professionalism, responsiveness, and Christian values through positive interpersonal interactions, , and diligent execution of responsibilities.

Working Environment
- Work is generally performed indoors in a typical office setting.
- Some weekend/evening work required.
- Position works with strictly confidential information.
- Frequently required to be in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.
- Position is prone to frequent interruptions by individuals asking questions.
Physical Demands
The functions are usually performed while sitting, but may involve some amount of time standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting (max. of 40 lbs.), walking, carrying, reaching, stretching, climbing, perform repetitive motions of the hands or wrists and other movements. The abilities of seeing, hearing and speaking are also required.
Compensation
Based on education and experience, the position has a hiring range of $19.50/hour to $20.60/hour.
