91制片厂 President Joseph Castleberry Takes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Posted on Friday, August 22, 2014

91制片厂's President, Dr. Joseph Castleberry, accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to support the ALS Association and raise awareness about amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

In suit and tie, Dr. Castleberry accepted the challenge on August 20, 2014, after being challenged by Steve Jamison, the Pastor at Eastridge Church in Issaquah, Washington.

Dr. Castleberry passed the challenge on to Dr. Michael Clifford and Dr. Randy Barton moments before being hit with gallons of ice water.

About ALS and the Ice Bucket Challenge

ALS is a neurodegenerative disease that has no cure and, over time, leads to death. ALS has been commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease since ALS ended baseball Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig’s career in the late 1930s.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge encourages participants to douse themselves with ice water and challenge others to do the same and/or donate to the ALS Association. The challenge has gone viral, raising $41.8 million for the ALS Association as of August 21, 2014.
